2 Fast 2 Furious is about on-par with the first film. Paul Walker still can't act, and Vin Diesel is nowhere to be found (but is mentioned a couple times). Instead we get Tyrese Gibson to play the bag-guy-yet-good-guy, and he is the man that truly makes this movie. The plot is fairly random, but Gibson makes the film fun, his character is always cracking jokes and doing stupid things to make the movie more interesting.
There's a whole bunch of cars in this movie, a whole bunch of money, and a whole bunch of fighting. With this release it's clear to see that this franchise could actually blossom (and since has) into a great series.
