Let's Be Cops (2014) [Movie Review]

A large majority of the films featuring the Wayans' family are nonsensical comedies. Let's Be Cops is no different - if you couldn't tell by the title.

After walking home from an embarrassing costume party, Ryan (Jake Johnson) and Justin (Damon Wayans Jr.) learn that as long as they are wearing a police uniform, everyone thinks you are actually a cop - even the cops!

As I said, this is another completely illogical film - but I don't really think I knock off any points just for that reason. They made no attempt to hide it's silly premise and instead embraced it. This made the film more enjoyable, and hilarious, due to never backing down.

Let's Be Cops is a really funny film, not quite hilarious, but still quite funny. It's by no means a must-see, but it's a fun way to spend a couple hours.
