Only God Forgives (2013) [Movie Review]

Only God Forgives features another team-up of Ryan Gosling and Nicolas Winding Refn. Both of whom I am a big fan.

This film has a lot going for it, and is definitely a beautiful and stylistic film. However, the actual plot of the film is hard to take in on the first viewing, and has suffered poor reviews because of it.

Refn believes in the 'actions speak louder than words' motto, and his movies show it. In this movie, there is very little dialogue, and most of the messages are portrayed through violence or other strong emotions.

This movie is definitely not for everyone, but if you like Refn's other works, you may enjoy this one.
