The Heat is yet another buddy-cop movie about an uptight cop and a 'reckless' cop teaming up. And just like 90% of the other buddy-cop movies, it is funny, but not a good movie.
I don't really know what to say about this movie... it was funny at some points, but it tried so hard to be serious, and then instantly back to trying to be funny. So many transitions between 'funny' and 'serious' just felt awkward. Well, most of the movie just felt awkward.
Since McCarthy is in this movie, it's going to make a lot of money. And apparently a sequel has already been announced. But I can not recommend this movie. I'm not going to tell you not to watch it, but I can't tell you to watch it...
