Zulu (1964) [Movie Review]

Zulu is a film based upon the Battle of Rorke's Drift. For those unfamiliar with said battle, it featured a couple hundred British soldiers, mostly wounded, forced to fight several thousand Zulu warriors. The film also marks Michael Caine's first starring role.

Despite the overabundance of historical inaccuracies, the film was very entertaining and still somewhat informative. The final ~30 minutes was stunning. I give Zulu an extremely high recommendation.

Rating: 8/10

Discussion topic: Even though the film has many inaccuracies, could it be a useful teaching tool?
