Gladiator (2000) [Movie Review]

I'm not typically one to enjoy movies featuring gladiators. I don't know why, there is simply something about them that is not interesting to me. For this very reason, I had put off watching the movie.

I can't really say that I'm disappointed in myself for holding off on this film. I can, however, say that I am glad I have watched it now. I can't think of a single Russell Crowe film in which he has been anything less than fantastic. This film holds that to be true. He is a phenomenal actor, and his character in Gladiator definitely made the film enjoyable.

I can't bring myself to say too much about this film, both for my interest in not spoiling and for the simple fact of having little to say. I will say that the last act of this film truly completes it. Beyond that, I have nothing to say. This is a great film, I won't call it a must-see, but I will say that watching it will bring no disappointment.
