I watch every movie that gets a wide theater release. Some of you may know that, and most others can probably assume it. Some times I will absolutely dread going to a particular movie, but get completely blown away by it actually turning out to be great. It's pretty rare for that to happen though. And you know what? This one sucked just as much as I thought it would.
The first Paranormal Activity was apparently good, I mean, it's a part of the 1,001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. But, just because one movie is good doesn't mean you have to flesh out sequel after sequel. Horror movies always seem to be the worst about the number of sequels they make, and they always make money! That is so frustrating!
Anyway, I can't think of anything good to say about this movie. They took a fairly established series, and decided to make it even bigger by showing a completely different family! If you're a Paranormal Activity fan, you may enjoy the nods to the previous movies, but if you've never seen a Paranormal Activity, do not watch this movie. It only encourages more of them, and they have already gone too far, with more on the way!
