3 Days to Kill (2014) [Movie Review]

3 Days to Kill finds a dying CIA agent, played by Kevin Costner, attempt to rekindle his relationship with his wife and daughter. At the same time, he is on one last mission in hopes of getting a cure for his ailment.

I actually feel bad for not liking this movie. It's clear that the effects department did an outstanding job. But the writer didn't do nearly as good of a job. The movie follows a few clichés, but thankfully the entire movie is not one big cliché. Many things that happen just feel like they were shoehorned in for the sake of being in the movie. Kevin Costner didn't seem to give the part his all, he seemed almost robotic in this role. And really, everything that wasn't the editing team was below average.
