Side by Side (2012) [Movie Review]

Side by Side is a documentary about the difference between the film and digital formats of cinema, as well as the history and general knowledge of each.

I hope everyone can already tell that I am a fairly large fan of films. I love all kinds, from every genre to every format. And any time I can watch a movie about movies, it's like heaven. Everything that was told in this movie caught my interest and, while I already knew many of the things in the movie, it also taught me a few things about the industry.

What I liked most about this movie is that almost every person had a different opinion, there was no general consensus. You get people passionate about the pros and cons of a great number of factors that play into making a film.

I can't think of any negatives for this particular movie. If you're passionate about film, you will probably really like this documentary.

Rating: 9/10
