Rapture-Palooza (2013) [Movie Review]

Let's just start with the obviously cheesy title. "Rapture-Palooza" - With a name like that, you know this movie is going to suck. But oddly enough, even with it's obviously poor production value, Rapture-Palooza is a pleasant surprise.

Many of us know about the Rapture. Everyone who goes to church is saved, while the rest of us are left on the earth to face blood rain and the Anti-Christ. But Rapture-Palooza is such an interesting take on this story, as you could probably imagine. As usual, I'm going to do my best to avoid spoiling anything, thus won't be saying much more about the plot.

This film featured a slew of great acting talent. They were all executed with perfection. A few characters are written a little wonky, as you could imagine in a comedy, but they really brought their all to make the character seem important.

All-in-all, this film is definitely interesting. It is not a perfect movie, nor does it strive to be. It knows it's own flaws and it accepts them, and therefore I accept it.
