Akira (1988) [Movie Revew]

Akira is hailed as one of, if not the, best anime movies of all time. I surprise myself by having not seen this movie.

This movie is exactly what I look for in anime. Completely over-the-top action, a plot that is so crazy only Japan could come up with it, and did I mention action? Oh my God, if the ten year old me would have watched this, he would have had a huge boner. No idea why I just said that... moving on... I watched this movie with the English dub, so I'm sure I missed some of the 'special' moments because of it, but I still loved the movie.
