Earth Girls Are Easy sounds like it's a porno, and undoubtedly there is a porno with the exact same name somewhere out there, but that's not what this review is for. This review is for the 1988 film starring Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, and Geena Davis. Okay, so you may be asking what this movie is about then; it starts in the Alien's spaceship. Zeebo (Jim Carrey) and Wiploc (Daman Wayans) are daydreaming about the ladies of their planet, then upon seeing a new planet, one with only one moon, they decide to snoop around and find more out about their "bald" ladies. The spaceship begins plummeting to earth, thus waking Mac (Jeff Goldblum), the pilot of their ship, as he attempts to land the aircraft. Mac successfully lands in the pool of the lovely Valerie (Geena Davis), who has just had just broken up with her boyfriend. Valerie then befriends the aliens, helps them look human for their short stay on Earth, and keeps them out of trouble, or as best as she can.
Obviously, I skipped some key story elements in the summary above, it's a fairly enjoyable film, but admittedly forgettable. I guess being based off of a song, I shouldn't have expected a whole hell of a lot from it. The aliens were all rather humorous; not understanding English, but able to imitate any sound they hear, their conversations with Valerie, and really everyone, were all hilarious. Mac eventually picked up a decent grasp of English, and struck up a relationship with Valerie, which is really what the film was about.
