Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) [Movie Review]

Indiana Jones is back in the prequel to Raiders of Lost Ark! Indy must go to the Pankot Palace to bring back a powerful stone to a starving village. After a short while; Indiana Jones, along with his two traveling companions, Willie Scott and Short Round, decide to search the palace. After a few close encounters with death, they find a group of people trying to rule the world by collecting all five of the Sankara stones.

This movie was not quite as good as it's predecessor, Raiders of the Lost Ark, but it was still entertaining to watch. Once again having Spielberg directing, Lucas writing, and Ford taking the lead role, the movie was bound to be a success. Though most of the film is forgettable, it does feature a very important piece of film history; the Kali ma chant, followed by the brutal removal of the heart.

Rating: 7/10
