My how the Fast & Furious franchise has grown. Initially about a crooked cop, it has evolved into a group of bad guys playing cops. And it is fucking fun.
If you haven't seen the other Fast movies, then I would recommend waiting on this movie. You don't need to watch those movies to understand what's happening, but it will be much more enjoyable if you have seen the previous installments. With that being said, I'm not going to talk about the plot.
Being a huge fan of the series since the first film, I found everything about this film to be great. It was brilliantly written, it tied all of the films together perfectly, and truly leaves you wanting more. The same thing couldn't really be said about a couple of the previous films. Many things in the movie don't make sense, but then again, it's a movie about stealing heavily protected items with cars, so that's to be expected. The stakes are the highest they have ever been for this crew, but the reward is enough for them to keep fighting.
Overall a fun movie. If you enjoyed the past films, you will like this one. Hell, if you like action at all, you will like this movie.
