Little Big League (1994) [Movie Review]

Some people die and give their spouse all of the debt they had earned from their gambling addiction, some give their family members all of their prized possessions, and others simply leave the family to take what they want. But not Thomas Heywood (Jason Robards) - he decided he'd leave something special for his grandson Billy (Luke Edwards) - The Minnesota Twins! The only problem with this is that Billy is just 12 years old. Cue whacky antics!

Little Big League is by no means a bad movie. Yet, at the same time, it's not at all a good movie. Thus is the story of so many kids' movies. Even though the film suffers from lack of a believable plot, and a very cliched one to top it off, it still manages to be funny. Sadly the jokes are few and far between, and don't make up for the films flaws.

Rating: 6/10
