Well, it finally landed. The series that's been building up for five film installments over four years is here. And what treat the film is! By far the most ambitious comic book film to date, it brings all the big names together for one masterpiece of a film!
Let's do a head count: the demi-god; the man in the can, Iron Man; a super soldier, a living legend who kind of
lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management
issues; a couple of master assassins, all coming together to fight their biggest threat yet. Any fan of comic books would get giddy just seeing a movie with two of these heroes teaming up, but Marvel decided the whole crew should team to take out the baddies. And while this movie wasn't really a cinematic masterpiece, its still a near-perfect film.
Having something for everyone we get big, strong, guys fighting. However, they are almost always fully clothed, sorry ladies. To make up for the lack of shirtlessness, we get a few love stories entangled, the most prominent being that of Hawkeye and the Black Widow. A nice drama bit of Captain America trying to readjust to today's world. Not to mention the explosions.
This film can be loved by everyone, I highly recommend giving it at least one viewing. The post credits tease at some very fun things in store for Phase Two. Gonna be a fun couple of years!
