Little Man (1940) [Movie Review]

Little Men is a charming story of Dan (Jimmy Lydon) a boy who is sent to boarding school. Upon arriving at the school, the boy want nothing but to leave. He doesn't follow a single rule at the school. Yet the teacher, Jo March (Kay Francis) and select students still did everything they could to make his stay a nice one. But then tragedy strikes! The school has no money and will be foreclosed upon if they don't get the money they need.

This film was enjoyable, but failed to provide any true message. Yet again I have not read the source material, nor have I seen any other film adaptation. All I know is that this film fails to do anything special, and is all-around just an "okay" movie. I cannot recommend this film.

Rating: 6/10
