In this thrilling adventure, John McClane (Bruce Willis) must defend the entire nation! A group of hackers have taken control of almost everything ran by computers, and John, with the help of a hacker (Matt Farrell - played by Justin Long) that unknowingly helped begin Armageddon, must take down the bad guys before the nation is destroyed.
By this time, the Die Hard franchise, and the name John McClane, has become something that will sell with almost not effort. That means the film gets a big budget, which means a lot of explosions and property damage. Usually, saying that would lead into the next phrase being about how poorly the film was done, but somehow it just works in this case. We get to see a lot of nerds being the heroes in this film, and the nerds are surprisingly bad-ass. But other than all of the bad-ass explosions and hacking, the film didn't add too much. It was simply taking McClane to a new level, which is enjoyable to watch, but makes for a fairly mediocre film.

Discussion topic: Would you hack into something with high security (e.g. the C.I.A.) for $50,000? If not, what would your price be? Or would you avoid it in general?
