Nick & Norah is the love story about the awkward love triangle between Nick (Michael Cera), Nick's ex Tris (Alexis Dziena), and Norah (Kat Dennings). Nick is still in love with Tris, even though she treated him poorly and unbeknownst to him, cheated on him. Norah has a crush on Nick, and is kind-of-sort-of friends with Tris. And Tris is trying to make Nick jealous so they can be together again. For some reason.
This film is funny, but all too predictable. Sure, there a few twists here-and-there, but most of the plot can be figured out before it happens. On top of being predictable, a large chunk of the film was simply the group trying to find Norah's drunk friend Caroline (Ari Graynor), which, if removed, would have made the film much better. Really, the whole premise of this film is meh. It's funny, but it's really just another Michael Cera awkward-guy-gets-the-girl movie.
