Skyfall (2012) [Movie Review]

Wow, 50 years! James Bond has been on the silver screen for 50 years, and is still going strong! In this thrilling installment, we get many nods to the past films, and even some appearances of old gadgets. Opening, we have Bond (Daniel Craig) and Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) in pursuit of a man who has stolen a hard drive containing the identities of all MI6 operatives. Moneypenny accidentally shoots Bond, everyone assuming he's dead. After a little well needed vacation, Bond comes back from the dead to assess the situation.

I couldn't think of a better way to mark the 50th anniversary for Bond. A stunning story, the classic music, the classy actor, the beautiful Bond Girl, and the amazingly crazy Bond Villain. In previous James Bond films, Q has been nothing more than a supply guy, but in this film we get a much, much more bad-ass Q. His knowledge truly shines through in Skyfall, proving he can not only make amazing gadgets for Bond to break, but he can actually hack computers, and fight back against the digital terrorists of today. If you're a Bond fan, you need to watch this film. Hell, even if you just like a nice action film, definitely check this one out. You won't be dissapointed.

Rating: 9/10
