I'm going to apologize right away, this contains many spoilers, stop reading now if you haven't seen the film. I'll say it right now - I highly recommend watching this movie.
Colin Farrell stars as Victor, a man thought to have already been killed. After the murder of his wife and daughter (and "self") he swears he will get vengeance, so he weasel's his way into the mob, and eventually becomes one the leaders right-hand men. Alphonse (Terrence Howard) is the name of our leader, and is one mean son of a bitch. But then again, so is Victor. Victor starts killing a few of Alphonse's closest men, leaving notes and pieces to a picture, that when all pieced together will reveal to Alphonse exactly what is going on. Throughout his journey, Victor meets a nice girl, Beatrice (Noomi Rapace). Now Beatrice may seem nice, but she has her own agenda to follow, and Victor finds himself in rather sticky situation.
The writing in this film was phenomenal. So many twists that you just don't see coming. The acting was played out greatly. Farrel, Howard, and Rapace were great picks for their respective roles. I can't think of any complaints for this film, and I would recommend seeing it.
