"The ultimate battle between naughty and nice." I think I may have missed the battle. But I know that I didn't miss the rest of this, umm, masterpiece.
Okay, so Eight Crazy Nights is about Davey Stone's (voiced by Adam Sandler) transformation from child basketball prodigy, to an adult asshole, then to a nice mature man. Helping him along the way is his old basketball referee, Whitey (again voiced by Adam Sandler). Whitey is the kind of person who never thinks about himself, he exists to serve others. Even when most others treat him poorly. After another incident with the law, Davey must work with Whitey or he will end up in jail.
This film had one of the most predictable plots in a movie I'd ever seen. There were no plot twists. I believe this is where Adam Sander's career began to wane. There were very few jokes present, for it being a comedy and all, and the jokes that did make appearances were almost all terrible. With the plot structure as predictable as it is, the weird mix of kid and adult movie, and lack of comedy in this comedy film, I would give this film a pass.
