The Call (2013) [Movie Review]

Jordan (Halle Barry) is an experienced 911 operator. She takes a break from calls after making a mistake that cost the life of an innocent girl. Now, teaching new 911 operator's, she finds herself back on headset to attempt to help a kidnapped girl, Casey (Abigail Breslin).

Going in, I was expecting The Call to be bad, in a way. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. We get a very thrilling story, two girls being kidnapped by the same person, and the same 911 operator getting the call. The emotions were portrayed very nicely by Halle Barry, she made them seem real. Never once was I bored while watching this film; from opening scene to end credits, my eyes were glued to the screen. I recommend this great pick if you're bored at the cinema this week.
