The Matrix (1999) [Movie Review]

What is real? What is a dream? That is the main focus of The Matrix.

Neo (Keanu Reeves) is the hero of our story. When suspected to be "The One" by the current leader of the Resistance, Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), he is awaken in the real world. The world we live in, is called The Matrix. The real world is ran by machines, and The Matrix is the dream world everyone exists in. Confusing as shit, but damn good writing in this movie.

The Matrix may not have the greatest acting, but it more than makes up for in the cinematography and writing. What a treat this film is. It's one of those movies that mind-fucks you no matter how many times you've seen it. If you like sci-fi movies, then definitely check this one out.
