Empoyee of the Month (2004) [Movie Review]

David Walsh (Matt Dillon) has a great life with his wonderful job, expensive car, and beautiful fiancée. That is, until the day he is fired from his job. Then his fiancée breaks up with him, and takes the car with her. Shortly after, he decides to buy a gun, and pay his old boss a visit, and shenanigans follow.

This film tries to be so many different genre's that it can't be classified into any. It's just a cluster-fuck of random things. The entire first hour is predictable as hell, which might be he point on account of the ending coming out of nowhere. But still, really boring guessing the basic plot structure of almost the entire damn film. And damn, what's with movies having ~5 endings right after each other? Pick one, two is okay, but any more than that is just boring and unnecessary. Anyway, on top of the plot being terrible and predictable, the acting is god-awful. Everyone is funny, but none of them can get their parts right. Overall, Employee of the Month is a pass, I can't think of a redeeming factor this one.

Rating: 5/10
