Almost every child has/had at least one toy. How they played with the toy was up to them and their imagination. Some treated their toys with respect and took care of them. Others had so many that they neglected many and often ended destroying them while playing with them. But it didn't matter, because they were toys. They weren't alive. They didn't have feelings. But Toy Story is the, well, story of the toys. They aren't inanimate objects, they are living beings, with feelings.
The story of Toy Story is fairly simple. Andy (voiced by John Morris) owns a pretty decent array of toys. He plays nicely with his toys, gives them all close to an equal amount of play-time, but Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is Andy's favorite. Or at least, Woody was his favorite. For his birthday, he is gifted a Buzz Lightyear toy (voiced by Tim Allen) and Woody's position as favorite toy is tested. The two have arguments, and go on a wonderful adventure together, both eventually accepting each other and becoming very good friends.
A touching story, to say the least. One of the greatest animated films of all time, in my opinion. Toy Story was creative, dramatic, funny, and visually stunning. These are the reasons I love Pixar. Everything about this movie is great, if you haven't yet seen this movie, I highly recommend seeing it!
