Continuing the Twilight saga, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) finds herself in a depression after her boyfriend Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) must leave town and stop talking to her. Upon realizing that dangerous things make Edward appear, in her mind, she sets out to many dangerous things, landing herself in a kind-of relationship with her old friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), who turns out to be yet another mythological creature. When Edward calls to see if Bella is okay, she finds herself in a supernatural love triangle, and is forced to choose who she wants to be with.
New Moon was surprisingly good. I know everyone hates the Twilight series just because it's Twilight, but damn, this was a great movie in and of itself. The cinematography was great, the writing was actually quite good, the acting improved immensely, and the relationship felt real, considering Bella's age. Biggest biggest disappointment of this film is the appearance of the werewolves, but just like the vampires, I can look past that. Overall a great sequel to a rather underrated film.
