The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) [Movie Review]

The thrilling love triangle between the human Bella (Kristen Stewart), the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson), and the werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) continues. In this installment, we get some more insight as to why the werewolves don't get along with the vampires, and Bella is once again struggling with her feelings. Who should she choose? She already knows what she wants, but everyone is trying to change her mind, making the decision very difficult. Yet, while all of this is going on, an army of Newborns is being created. Newborns are vampires that have just turned, and while they still have human blood inside of them, they are much stronger. So, in order to protect the town, and somehow more importantly, Bella; the werewolves and vampires must work together to defeat this army.

Now, I am a really big fan of both vampire and werewolf mythology. Generally, the two beings hate each other, and that stands true in this series aswell. So, when something really major happens, and they must work together, I get extremely giddy over the idea. I seriously don't get why everyone hates this series so much. It's a great love story, with very good special effects. I'd recommend it to a fan of romantic films.

Rating: 7/10
